Sugar produced in Brazil

Brazil is the first producer of sugar in the world with 22% of production, principally from sugar cane, followed by India with 15%, then China with 8%.

In the past decade (2000-2009), Brazil’s proportion of worldwide exports in raw sugar has progressed from 7% to 62%.
